Egypt .. The first license for "contacts the fourth generation."


Te first got a license in the country to provide telecommunications fourth generation "4G" services, on Wednesday, compared to 7.8 billion pounds (about 797 million dollars), to be the provider of the fourth mobile operator in Egypt.

The Egyptian government sells four licenses for fourth-generation services, in a long-awaited plan to reform the telecommunications sector.

It joined te for three other providers of mobile phone services, are "Vodafone Egypt" and "communications" and "Orange Egypt."

Press reports quoted Egyptian sources as te, as saying that the fourth-generation services will begin its work after about six months from now.

The sources added that the fourth-generation licenses extend for 15 years from the date of signature, and that the company occurred infrastructure over fiber-optic technology in preparation for the transition to an integrated communications operator.
